Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is an Indian 2009 Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. A remake of Telugu film Soggadu, it stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The film was produced by Ramesh S. Taurani at a reported budget of ₹25 crore (US$3.6 million) and released on 6 November 2009. It was the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year with worldwide earnings of ₹111.21 crore (US$16 million). Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani was declared Super hit by Box Office India. Ranbir Kapoor won several awards for his performance including the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.
