Just a few notes on this.



 The fact that the film Food Coop documenting the Park Slope Food Coop (established 1973) has four subtitled languages I found significant right at

viewing it. Many of these uploads have international interest.



 I'm  filesharing this as a template:  a way to get ideas for what a food co-op can be.  It's a mature operation and quite large with a client base that volunteers time as part of their membership.



  Years ago during the sustainability craze I suggested to some teachers at the local university extension that, like stagecraft,  running a food market as a teaching practicum staffed by student workers could be done for student credit.  No one responded.  The idea is still good.



   In "Food Co-op" there are unique features developed over time: like having walkers to get women and others home with an escort on the streets of NYC.

This and other ideas in  Food Co-op make it a worthwhile viewing experience:

a template for what can be done by people with incentive to do it.  This is shown in the brief extras which show a Park Slope style food coop established in France.



 Like every other upload in this group,  I suggest that the torrent be a way for schools and libraries to get Food Co-op and make it part of the discussion.

It's a template.  It's a beginning.
