It's a place where snow meets fiery underground forces, where waters travel from Rocky Mountain peaks to the Great Plains, and where age-old battles between predator and prey take place. This is Yellowstone, home to some of the most spectacular landscapes and wildlife in America. Join host Bill Pullman on an exploration of its colorful springs and raging waters, its glittering winters and lush summers, and its returning packs of predators and vast array of winged creatures.





1)  Fire and Ice

Winter in Yellowstone. Driving snow and temperatures 50 degrees below zero collide with spewing heat from subterranean forces, creating dramatic, otherworldly displays. Host Bill Pullman embarks on a journey over vast blankets of snow, through sparkling prisms of "diamond dust," and across rivers warmed by geothermal springs. Marvel at the park's wildlife and see how the area's extreme conditions pose challenges even for animals that have evolved to survive its winters.



2)  Return of the Predators

For decades, Yellowstone National Park's ecosystem was out of balance. Its wolves had vanished, and its grizzly bears were pushed to the edge of extinction. Now, through conservation efforts and one of the most ambitious restoration projects in history, the carnivores have returned in record numbers. Host Bill Pullman gives you an up-close look into nature's dramas over the course of a year.



3)  Life on the Wing

Soar above the erupting Old Faithful geyser, the cascading Lower Falls, and the brilliant Grand Prismatic Springs as we explore life in Yellowstone National Park through the eyes of its winged creatures. 4)  Down the River Wild

Yellowstone River is the longest undammed river in the contiguous 48 states, flowing with a wildness that is both violent and vital to the creatures that are drawn to its banks. From Yellowstone Lake, North America's largest high-elevation body of water, to the Missouri River, follow its nearly 700-mile journey over falls and through canyons into America's heartland.
