Tony Robinson takes a less-well trodden train trip around the globe. After setting off from St Pancras Tony saddles up with Europe's last cowboys in the Camargue region of southern France. Suckling pig is on the menu in Madrid, before a drop of port in Portugal.

Tony's rides the rails through the heart of South America, as he explores Argentina and Peru. From dancing the tango in Buenos Aires to fulfilling his lifelong dream of visiting Machu Picchu, Tony enjoys all that these vibrant and colourful countries have to offer.

In Mexico, Tony hops on board El Chepe, which winds its way through the Copper Canyon. He then heads towards the USA on the country's only passenger train, finding himself at Juarez.

Voyaging into Canada, Tony finds out what makes the locals tick, from the enormous Rockies to ice hockey. He also gets to chase elk from a town centre, before witnessing the impact of climate change at the base of the Alaskan glaciers.

After visiting a cafe owned by British Barry in Vladivostock Tony hops on the Trans-Siberian Express. His final destination is Helsinki, a journey of more than 10,000 Km.

Tony sees Scandinavia in all its glory, from the beautiful fjords of Norway to the happy-go-lucky Danes in Copenhagen. His odyssey begins at a polar park where three huge wolves take a liking to him.
