OPIS
Prokurator Elżbieta Ginter (Magdalena Cielecka) prowadzi dochodzenie w sprawie afery bankowej. Bezkompromisowa i uczciwa za wszelką cenę dąży do wyjaśnienia zagadki wyprowadzenia z kont grubych milionów. Pomaga jej zgorzkniały i cyniczny komisarz policji Witold Kosmala (Piotr Fronczewski). Inspektor za rok odchodzi na emeryturę i początkowo jedynie z obowiązku pomaga młodszej koleżance, zupełnie nie angażując się w sprawę. Z czasem jednak, gdy Ginter ujawnia coraz bardziej sensacyjne fakty, aktywnie włącza się w prowadzone przez nią dochodzenie.
