Ex-thief Thunderbolt (Clint Eastwood) and fun-loving drifter Lightfoot (an Oscar-nominated Jeff Bridges) team up with Thunderbolt's shady old associates, Red (George Kennedy) and Goody (Geoffrey Lewis), to restage a robbery of an armored bank.
