Summary



Embark on a journey from Jamaica to Britain, from the Second World War to 1948 – the year the HMT Empire Windrush docked at Tilbury, in this moving stage adaptation of Andrea Levy’s Orange Prize-winning novel.

My brief Notes



This slice of life drama along with Barbershop Chronicles is a superb adaptation and is well-placed in time for the broadcast viewers.



 The addition of these more recent titles other than the Shakespeare shows for  the fundraising effort is welcome and I hope will continue.  There are many titles in the  NTLive archive from Ivo Van Hove and others which may appear during the fundraising period.  The subtitles are available through the streaming site and visible from a browser add-in.  I'm grateful to the coder for it.
