This screenplay from the pen of David Mamet who gave us House of Games (starring
Joe Mantegna and Lindsay Crouse (Mamet's then spouse) the brilliant writing of
The Verdict (starring Paul Newman, and Lindsay Crouse yet again) and likewise
great writing supremely done in Glengarry Glen Ross (starring dear Al Pacino in
his best performance of his career - we paid $30 US just for shipping back then to
get this disc delivered from Italy in ENG-ITA audio format for our folks)

Today's movie is a terrible look at violence against women, given a bit too much
of an easy ride to the character depicted by Jack Nicholson (seems to enjoy playing
werewolf roles and the like too in other movies around I should note) and the target
being our own dearest Ms.Jessica Lange. It brought me much personal grief to be inflicted
with scenes of such violence imaginable to be directed at her, even to mention taking a
punch meant for a stronger man than Nicholson might even be willing to endure himself
from an absence of sanity in such matter it would appear as depicted.

we wont stand for this in what is to come in our communities. we must see to that
