Description: Cisco Network Assistant is a network management tool consisting of Cisco devices including routers, switches, APs, IP phones, and Cisco ASAs.
It supports the following functions:
Detection of network devices. Uses HTTP / HTTPS to connect and manage devices, and CDP to obtain information about neighboring devices.
Health Monitoring: It can monitor the health status including bandwidth usage, CPU usage, memory usage, etc.
Event Notification: it can warn of problems on network devices.
Network Configuration: it can support setting up devices via GUI or Telnet.
Network Device Resources: Can generate inventory reports on network devices including serial numbers, interfaces, IP addresses, etc.
Cisco Network Assistant supports up to 80 devices and is therefore targeted at small and medium-sized businesses. It can be installed on Windows and Mac operating systems.
