Bethesda has decided to reissue the famous shooter. The BFG Edition included the Doom 3 shooter itself and the Resurrection of Evil and Lost Mission add-ons, which included several new levels. Also included in the kit are the games "Doom" and "Doom II: Hell on Earth". Both games work under Windows 7 without additional settings [28]. The game was released to the US market on October 16, 2012 (October 19 in Europe) on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The re-release includes 3D support, improved sound and lighting. A new file storage system from the next generation of the Id tech engine has been added to the game engine, which significantly speeds up the loading of levels. The game has acquired a system of achievements. A control point system also appeared [29]. Doom 3 BFG Edition is the first game to use the Oculus Rift [30].
