Note:



After seeing how bollywood online streaming companies are slaughtering classic era movies

with their crap/ upscaled web HD, I decided to use AI to restore and upscale this movie

as a test and to show that we can do lots lots better than those commercial thieves.



You can compare this release with the 1080p web-dl released on DT bys us to see what I mean.



Here are the main craps done in the web-dl version.

 - Image frame have been overcropped thus resulting in lost of nearly a quarter of the original frame.

 - Asptect ratio is so much off that all the charaters are looking like fat cows.

 - Upsclale was done using simple resize thus killing all details and adding lots of artifacts.



I used the Shemaroo DVD9 release 20 years ago for this release.

Deep-AI has been used for restoration, followed by avisynth filters.

Upscaled using commercial AI upscaler.



I have included a colorized version of the video song "Dil Mila Ke"

in a seperate file to show you my work in progress on colorization

using AI, using mainly DAIN & Doldify.



All AI processing I did on a dual EVGA RTX 2080TI + NVLink configuration,

equivalent of 40 TeraFlops of computing power.
