According the singer, Raitt is actually one of the reasons why she became a singer.The Priyanka’s version is quite different because the original is a ballad and the new version is more upbeat. The singer filmed the music video early in February and it was directed by Jeff Nicholas and Jonathan Craven. ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me‘ was released on iTunes on April 22, 2014.This upbeat version was previously recorded as a demo by American singer-songwriter and hitmaker Ester Dean, known for her work with Barbadian pop star Rihanna. The music video starring ‘Heroes‘ actor Milo Ventimiglia was premiered on VEVO on Tuesday April 29th.
