Here we have a very gory zombie horror comedy film from New Zealand. It was in fact even cited by Simon Pegg as the inspiration for his own zombie comedy, Shaun of the Dead.



This is a pretty rare film and despite being comedic it was banned in multiple countries due to the gore. Although, by today's CGI standards, the gore in this 90's era flick just makes it all the more amusing.



Why two names? The film is called Braindead but was released as Dead Alive in the USA due to trademark issues.



As usual you get a high quality picture and the original DTS core audio track, although this film was only released with stereo audio.
