Svengoolie Presents: The Return Of The Vampire (1943)

Cast: Bela Lugosi (YES!), Frieda Inescort, Miles Mander, Nina Foch, Matt Willis

Plot: When an errant bomb unearths the coffin of a vampire during the London Blitz, a gravedigger
unknowingly reanimates the monster by removing the stake from his heart.

1080p print was used for the film portions for improved picture ; and edited to the frame based on the actual broadcast. Although littered with film grain, the picture is quite good. Sven's version seemed to be identical to the ones I have.Also, I have yet to come across a copy that doesn't have a Jump cut with the woman at the very beginning of the movie.


***** At Special Note about the Quality of the Svengoolie portions I've recorded in the newer posted shows-- I MISTAKENLY Thought And Assumed MY ME-TV Channel was broadcasting in 720i--- IT IS NOT--- it's 480i--- I apologize for occasionally making mention that those portions were in 720i---  I Never meant to mislead you.
While the quality HAS improved over the ones posted Before 10/26/2019, with new capturing equipment, I'm still very disappointed that these aren't at least 720i, but in fact 480i *****
