We Can Be Heroes, film diretto da Robert Rodrgiguez, racconta di come un gruppo di invasori alieni rapisca tutti i supereroi della Terra, gettando il pianeta nella sconforto, non più protetto dai vigilantes. Il governo decide di raggruppare tutti i figli dei paladini e portarli in un rifugio, così da tenerli al sicuro. Tra questi vi è Missy Moreno (YaYa Gosselin), un'adolescente molto intelligente, intenzionata a salvare suo padre, il supereroe Marcus Moreno (Pedro Pascal). Per affrontare il manipolo di alieni, Missy farà squadra con gli altri superkids, ma prima di partire in missione, dovranno liberarsi della babysitter imposta loro dal governo, la signora Granada (Priyanka Chopra).

Unendo i loro poteri, tutti diversi e personali, i giovani eroi dovranno formare un team e collaborare tra loro, soltanto così riusciranno a salvare i loro genitori e il nostro pianeta.
