That Winter, the Wind Blows (Hangul: ê·¸ 겨울, ë°”ëžŒì´ ë¶„ë‹¤; RR: Geu Gyeo-ul, Baram-i Bunda) is a 2013 South Korean romantic melodrama television series starring Jo In-sung, Song Hye-kyo, Kim Bum and Jung Eun-ji. A gambler and con man (played by Jo) pretends to be the long-lost brother of a blind heiress (played by Song), but these two damaged people come to find the true meaning of love after meeting each other.[1][2]
The series is based on the Japanese drama I Don't Need Love, Summer (æ„›ãªã‚“ã¦ã„らããˆã‚ˆã€å¤ Ai Nante Irane Yo, Natsu?) that aired on TBS in 2002, and was previously adapted into the 2006 Korean film Love Me Not.[3][4] This 2013 Korean drama adaptation was written by Noh Hee-kyung and directed by Kim Kyu-tae.[5]
It premiered on SBS with 2 back-to-back episodes on February 13, 2013.[6] The series continued airing on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes, ending on April 3, 2013.[7]
