Yet another paranormal kick-ass chick series. What's distinctive? Author imbues the main character with some clever dialogue, repartee & cultural riffs while avoiding the introspective angst that plagues others in this genre.
The shaman-esque dreams sequences sometimes override action, but rarely becomes irritating. Interesting secondary characters and overall strong character development & story arc.
