Summary

My notes



  Laurence Olivier made John Osborne's Archie Rice immortal.



  But The Entertainer is rarely performed --  much more infrequently than Look Back In Anger by Osborne.



  It is significant that there is a rare video of Branagh performing Look Back In Anger for television in 1989.  That is recently available from A&E dvd.  Here from the Branagh Theatre Company and the Garrick Theatre the video quality varies both in the larger source file  (I give the torrent title in the NFO) and this recode I have made with trims and edits for better transition and 'wait time' during the live taping interval.  Adjusting the video in PotPlayer or VLC will improve the image.  Most of this is Proshot in medium and long by Rob Ashford who also did Branagh's Macbeth in this torrent collection.
