Jessica is a successful lesbian romance novelist who hasn’t dated in over a decade, and hasn’t written a new novel in years. Her inability to move on with her life after her wife’s death forces her literary agent and her best friend to convince her to date again – for her own well-being, and to break her writer’s block.

Venturing out into an unfamiliar dating scene, Jessica meets three intriguing women. Kate, the young clerk at a local coffee shop, is infatuated with her and seems willing to do just about anything for Jessica’s approval. Jo is a professional photographer specializing in nature scenes, but her brooding demeanor is better suited to her less-public photography projects: capturing intimate moments between couples. Adrian appears to be a stereotypical motorcycle rider: tattoos, attitude and all, but Jessica discovers there is much more going on beneath the surface.

Complicating her life further is the attention Jessica receives from an unknown admirer – flattering, until admiration turns into obsession. With the help of her friends, old and new, Jessica must deal with her personal demons while trying to identify her resourceful and persistent stalker before someone gets hurt or killed.
