Opis:
Akcja filmu rozpoczyna się na lodowej planecie Hoth, gdzie księżniczka Leia, Han Solo i Luke Skywalker, wraz z resztą rebeliantów ukrywają się przed wojskami Imperium. Kryjówka Rebelii zostaje jednak odnaleziona i zaatakowana, więc bohaterowie muszą uciekać. Han i Leia uciekając przed pościgiem Imperium trafiają do Miasta w Chmurach, rządzonego przez dawnego przyjaciela Hana - Lando Calrissiana. Luke Skywalker trafia zaś na bagnistą planetę Dagobah, gdzie spotyka Mistrza Yodę. Rozpoczyna szkolenie Jedi, szybko jednak musi wyruszać na pomoc przyjaciołom. Han i Leia, między którymi rozkwita miłość, wpadają w pułapkę Lorda Vadera...
