Plot Summary
See through the eyes of a shinigami. Light and L battle over the Death Note and now you can see what the story looks like from Ryuk’s point of view. When the shinigami Ryuk drops his Death Note purposely in the human world, he had no idea that a human would go as far as Light did who picked it up. With the Death Note in hand, the genius high school student Light Yagami after testing the Death Note and realizing it’s true potential vows to rid the world of evil, and when criminals begin to drop dead, genius detective L steps in to track down the mysterious killer known as Kira. An epic battle of wits pitting one brilliant mind against another unfolds in this amazing redesigned version of the first half of the original series.

Plot Summary
Death Note: Re-Light 2: L’s Successors (ディレクターズカット完全決着版 〜リライト2 Lを継ぐ者〜 lit. “Director’s Cut Complete Conclusion ~ Rewrite 2 L’s Successors~”). The OVA abridges the Mello and Near arc of the series. Notably, this OVA contains much more original footage than it’s predecessor, presumably because the anime directors wanted to take more creative liberities in this particular special.
The special was released on TV in Japan August 22, 2008, and released on DVD in the USA on June 23, 2009.

Plot Summary
Yagami Light is a brilliant college student who, one day, finds a notebook simply titled "Death Note." Inside of this book is a list of rules and details as for the use of the "Death Note." When he realizes the power he holds, he decides he's going to make over the world. He wants to make it into a better place by killing those who do others harm. He has been nicknamed by the police "Kira." L, a brilliant detective who lives in secrecy, rises from the shadows and puts his life on the line trying to capture Light. Both L and Light believe themselves on the side of Justice, and the two match wits trying to show exactly which of them is "good" and which of them is "evil."

Plot Summary
The battle continues. L is still suspicious of Yagami Light which he believes to be Kira. On the other hand Yagami Light meets a girl who is believed to have the Death God Eyes and a Death Note. Now there are two Kira's. Will L succeed in tracking down Kira? Who will be the last name? Will Light succeed in showing the new world?
