Guns of the Magnificent Seven is a 1969 western film directed by Paul Wendkos, starring James Whitmore, George Kennedy and Reni Santoni. The film is set during the period of the Mexican pre-revolution, in which the peasants try to organize themselves against the oppressive government of President Porfirio Díaz.



Guns of the Magnificent Seven is the sequel to The Magnificent Seven (1960) and The Return of the Magnificent Seven (1966) and prequel to The Magnificent Seven Ride Again (1972).
