Show Me a Hero è la miniserie che il prossimo 16 agosto riporterà lo stile narrativo di David Simon, l'acclamato ideatore di The Wire e Treme, su HBO. Basato sull'omonimo libro nonfiction di Lisa Belkin, il drama ripercorre la storia di Nick Wasicsko, il giovane sindaco di una città nello Stato di New York cui il tribunale federale ordina di costruire unità abitative per fasce sociali a basso reddito nei quartieri dei bianchi. Uno sforzo che lacera la città, l'amministrazione e, in definitiva, lo stesso protagonista nei ruggenti anni delle grandi battaglie per i diritti civili.

Show Me a Hero is the miniseries that on 16th August will bring the narrative style of David Simon , the acclaimed creator of The Wire and Treme on HBO . Based on the book of nonfiction Lisa Belkin , the drama tells the story of Nick Wasicsko , the young mayor of a city in upstate New York where the federal court order to build housing units for low-income social strata in white neighborhoods . An effort which has torn the city administration and , ultimately , the same protagonist in the roaring years of great battles for civil rights
