Il ritorno del dio coyote è il secondo romanzo dell'autore statunitense Christopher Moore.
La trama è abbastanza semplice: Sam Cacciatore è un venditore di polizze assicurative che ha iniziato a nascondere le sue vere origini di indiano appartentente alla tribù dei Corvi, rinnegando il suo passato e le sue radici, dopo aver involontariamente ucciso un uomo ed essere conseguentemente fuggito.
Un giorno, di punto in bianco, piomba nella sua vita il dio Coyote, creatore del mondo e gran briccone. Amante delle donne e del gioco d'azzardo, non sa cosa sia il rispetto e vive solo per divertirsi. E non sembra avere altri poteri oltre a quello di trasformarsi in qualsiasi animale, quindi non è poi nemmeno così d'aiuto...

The plot is simple enough : Sam Hunter is a seller of insurance policies that began to hide his true origins of Indian appartentente to the tribe of the Ravens , denying his past and his roots , having inadvertently killed a man and be consequently fled .
One day , out of the blue , swooping in his life the Coyote god , creator of the world and a great villain . Lover of women and gambling , does not know what respect and lives just to have fun . It seems to have no other powers as well as to turn into any animal , so it's not even so help ...
