The Doomsday Engine is a greatly enhanced DOOM source port available for Windows, Mac OS X, Ubuntu and most other Unix platforms.
Doomsday supports many games including the classic first-person shooters DOOM, Heretic and Hexen. It aims to retain the original feel of the games yet leverage modern techniques and technologies, including hardware accelerated 3D graphics and client/server networking. A lot of emphasis is placed on good-looking graphics.

Personal Notes:
Launchers for each game have been created for your convenience, also many additional add-ons have been installed for maximum visual experience (see screenshots). Set resolution is 1024x768 - Widescreen resolutions are supported. Multiplayer has not been tested.

Installation:
Use BetterZip or 7zX to extract the archive - mount the DMG and copy the folder onto your harddisk.
