Unlike a lot of Marvel Events Dark Reign operates in a slightly less connected state, there is no central series of issues that everything else would 'tie-in' to. As a result, you can read entire clumps of story arcs at once and not feel like you’re missing much of anything chronologically. This makes reading of Dark Reign substantially easier.
