Plot Summary



In October 1986, the wealthy Ushiromiya family gathers on Rokkenjima, the family's private island, for the annual family conference. Kinzo, the head of the family, is near death, and his four children have come to the conference expecting a fight over the inheritance. On the first night, a typhoon cuts the island off from the rest of the world, trapping Kinzo, his children, their spouses and children, five servants and the family doctor on the island. A letter arrives from "Beatrice," the supposed witch of the island with whom Kinzo has been obsessed for decades, and a series of gruesome murders begins...


Anime adaptation of the visual novel by 07th Expansion. Somewhat related to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, but not a sequel. Episodes 13 and 24 are the second versions.
