After sending her ex-fiancé Baby Shug to prison for a pair of murders that she callously orchestrated, and putting his brother Wahdatah in a coma with six shots from her .380, Miko Dunbar has every intention of becoming the coldest queenpin California has ever known. With Deeply Rooted ambitions of following in her father’s footsteps, Miko vows never to make the same mistake her kingpin father made, she swears not to meet with the same fate he did. But Miko’s cutthroat approach to the dope game ruffles a lot of feathers, and some of Southeast San Diego’s more notorious gangsta’s take offense with how she operates. One clique in particular, the Young Glock Gang, set out to pillage, plunder and destroy everything Miko worked so hard to build, and as a result the streets run red with blood when the gunplay pops off.

In the meantime, Baby Shug sits in a maximum security prison with thoughts of murder as his strongest motivation to continue living in hopes of one day getting out and being afforded the opportunity to kill the only woman he’s ever loved.
