When Zelda opens her eyes, after losing a duel with strokes of magic, she finds herself in a body that is not hers. She no longer has blonde hair but blacks and streaked with purple; New Gothic and not wearing her usual faded jeans. Sheila, who was once her best friend, decided to share their lives with a spell.
While she is immobilized and waiting to die, Zelda remembers the day when the magical powers have occurred: her sixteenth birthday.
She did not think, until a few weeks before, she would have to fight against the black magic of Salem, to save herself and Paul, the mortal boy she is in love.

The lighthouse stands imposing. It is almost unreal, confused in the fog that dates back from the ocean, opaque as the last glimmer of a dream.
I look up and I see the light from the room at the top: that is even more blinding glow of the lighthouse itself. It is the power.
My legs move by themselves, go up the stairs and guide me toward the blaze.
I wear clothes that are not from me: black leather pants, low-cut black top that leaves wink breasts. My ears are full of earrings and around my neck a flashy silver crucifix. My hair are black, long and straight, with a clear purple strand.
She is waiting for me and soon one of us will die.
I, or her this time.
I open the door and find myself in a circular room, the room of the lighthouse keeper. There is a camping stove resting on a shelf, an iron bed with a blanket, a closet nibbled by moths.
«Finally you are here, Sheila.» She says smiling at me, defiant. She pronounces my name as if she was laughing at me. She is wearing a pair of jeans and a pink blouse with floral decorations. Her golden blond hair are tied in a ponytail.
«That's not my name.» I say serious and surplus. «I am Zelda. You are Sheila. Remember that.»
