Madison didn't want to let the demon out.

For all their lives, Madison and her twin sister Claire have lived less than a five minute walk from each other. Even as circumstances changed and their lives grew apart, they could always rely on each other's presence. Now Claire is moving out into the middle of nowhere with her boyfriend Mark, to an old house that his uncle owns where the two of them can live rent free. For Claire it sounds like a dream, for Madison it's her worst nightmare.

While helping Claire move her meager possessions into the new house, Madison discovers something sinister: a secret door in the library that leads down into a rough stone chamber with an ornate metal door in it. By chance the door opens for her and she finds something that she never would have expected: a man, impaled to a rock by a massive sword and somehow still alive.

Things get complicated when she discovers that the man is Ymix, an ancient and destructive wolf demon, and that Nalka the sword is the only thing that can keep him trapped. Unfortunately, the very act of opening his chamber has summoned other dangerous monsters from miles around who are now trying their hardest to break into Claire's new house.

Madison faces a terrible choice: release Ymix and his terrible evil on the world once more in the hopes she can force him to help with the monster problem, or leave him trapped and then she and her sister will almost certainly die horribly.
