A black teenager (Jacob) is shot and killed by a white police officer in Chicago. As Black Lives Matter protests surge across the city, so does the gang violence in one of the murder capitals of America. Jacob's cousin (Jowann), hoping for a better life and not wanting to end up another statistic, desperately fights for a way out of the hood.
