Horacio Adolfo Salgán (Buenos Aires, Argentina; June 15, 1916) is an Argentine pianist, composer and conductor specialized in Tango.

He began studying piano at the age of 6. At 13 he was already the best student at the Municipal Conservatory, where he played works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Ravel.

In 1960 he formed and directed the Quinteto Real, whose objective was to create instrumental tangos designed more for listening than for dancing. It was one of the most solid tango groups ever known.

This disc covers the Complete Recordings in RCA between the years 1950-1951.-
