FUBAR Internet Blocker 2014

Here is a new version in this annoying series of applications!

This one will change Windows's host-file, so that a selected list of internet-servers is no longer available.
If the user tries to access any of these sites, e.g. youtube.com, they will be presented with a message that the server is unavailable.

So far, there is 53 different sites that will be permanently blocked by this application.


Setup is as usual:
You will get 2 warnings, telling you what you are about to do.
Setup will only take a few seconds.

This application is not installed, as the previous versions. After setup, this application will not do anything more. Never.

After setup, all browsers must be closed and restarted before the change will take effect.

No reboot or logout is needed. Changes are immediate; once all browsers has been closed.


Here is how to remove the block:
1. Open Notepad, as Administrator.
2. Open the file "%windir%/System32/drivers/etc/hosts". (Remember to change slash to backslash)
3. Delete all the lines that start with "127.0.0.1".
