My synopsis:
Humanoid beasts and fairies became the majority after humans lost a war with monsters. A man meets a group of girls after being hired to protect a warehouse full of weapons.
My review:
It's a warm sorrowful fantasy with more romance than action. The children make it livelier than I expected from a tragedy.
My recommendations:
More soul crushing: Saikano or Now and Then, Here and There .
More violent: Gunslinger girl or Elfen Lied .
More fantastic: Log horizon or GATE .
