Dead Island is a spectacular first-person shooter of a genre which we wanted to call Zombie-Slasher/Action-RPG. It has a strong focus on close combat, immersing the player in a multitude of classic elements, characteristic of the most renowned zombie movies.
The plot takes us to a tropical island that succumbs to chaos after the outbreak of a mysterious zombie epidemic. Cut off from the rest of the world, the only chance for the four players to survive is to fight to their last breath and search for a way to escape this hell alive, before becoming another victim of the island.
