Note : The absolute master of Italian sleaze cinema, Joe D'Amato, is back again with an original mix of genres, this time, what if zombies, but also really horny? I know, that kind of sounds like Burial Ground, but Burial Ground just has some softcore (and, well, incest zombies, so there's that), while this is full-on hardcore porn, interspersed with some, well, living dead. Frequent D'Amato collaborator George Eastman, otherwise known for playing the cannibal in Anthropophagus, plays the lead here, along with "Black Emanuelle" star Laura Gemser as some sort of lead zombie priestess ghost or something.

The story concerns a land developer who visits the Dominican Republic who leases an island without knowing it has a voodoo curse on it, and the captain of the boat he rents to take him there. Everyone fucks, there's a scene where a woman puts on a show in a nightclub by opening a bottle of champagne with her vagina, the island ends up crawling with zombies, of course, but it's all strangely undramatic and mostly serves as a vehicle for a bunch of nudity and hardcore sex scenes. It also lasts for almost two hours for some reason, which there's no possible reason for, but at least a good half of it is sex scenes.

This is a really bare-bones remaster, the copy is dirty, kind of grainy, and not great quality in general, and the only sound there is is the English dub. Still, the grunginess of it kind of fits the style of the movie, so if you want to really lean into some 70s-80s sexploitation, you're all set.
