Secret Team 355, il film diretto da Simon Kinberg, è una la storia di una spia, identificata con il Codice 355, di sesso femminile, che operò durante gli anni della Rivoluzione Americana. Siamo a Bogotá, in Colombia, quando un signore della droga presenta a una delle più pericolose menti criminali, Elijah Clarke (Jason Flemyng), una potente arma top-secret, ovvero programma di decrittazione che può accedere a tutti i sistemi digitali del pianeta. Clarke si appropria dell'arma, uccidendolo, ma mentre le autorità irrompono nella sua villa, l'agente DNI Luis Rojas (Edgar Ramirez) riesce a portargli via il dispositivo.

È compito dell'agente della CIA Mason Brown (Jessica Chastain), nota come Mace, recuperare l'arma a qualsiasi costo. Mace dovrà viaggiare da Parigi al Marocco, fino a Shanghai per di recuperarla, aiutata da un quartetto composto solamente da agenti intenzionali donne.
