? BitDefender has moved from a license key (activation code) registration format which could be used in many PCs to a subscription pattern as from their year 2016 release. As a consequence thereof, once the activation code is redeemed, said license key cannot be used any more and such redemption generates a unique "subscription" which procedure was outsourced to Mandrillapp by BitDefender. This circumstance entails the opening of an account with BitDefender Central.

? No offline installers will be officially released by BitDefender. Therefore, only BitDefender Agents for the appropriate versions of BitDefender 2018 (Antivirus Plus, Internet Security and Total Security) will be furnished. Said BitDefender Agents when executed allow the online installation of the respective BitDefender 2018 Security Product.

? All BitDefender 2018 Security Products can be installed in trial mode so that users can fully test them for 30 days without any limitation whatsoever .

? If BitDefender 2018 users are satisfied with the product, promo subscriptions can be requested once the 30 days trial period is close to its expiration date (let's say one day left) so that you may continue enjoying your BitDefender 2018 Security Product.

? "Promo subscription" for BitDefender 2018 means "Extended free trial period". The validity period of promo subscriptions may range from 90 to 180 days depending on their availability.

? Promo subscriptions are currently available for all BitDefender 2018 security products, i.e.: BitDefender Antivirus Plus 2018, BitDefender Internet Security 2018 and BitDefender Total Security 2018.

"Rey 30 days Trial Reset Tool" works with all BitDefender 2017 and 2018 Security Products. "Rey 30 days Trial Reset Tool" will ONLY work with OFFICIAL ONLINE TRIAL BITDEFENDER INSTALLATIONS. However, "Rey 30 days Trial Reset Tool" will not work unless all the remnants of BitDefender 2015, 2016, 2017 or 2018 promos are removed from previous installs. "Rey 30 days Trial Reset Tool" has to be run once the first BitDefender 30 days trial period is close to expiration date and then every 30 days.
