Gabrieli was organist at San Marco in Venice and left six books of keyboard works, five of which have survived the ages.



From these, Sébastien Wonner has made a representative selection of canzonas, ricercari, intonations and madrigals to represent this 16th century Italian master.



The music is often inspired by the French song, which enjoyed great popularity throughout Europe during the Renaissance, and at the same time the compositional style is clearly inspired by improvisation.
