It is the third and final part of the so-called "Trilogy of Death", shot by Fulci between 1980 and 1981 and played by Catriona MacColl. The other two films are Fear in the City of the Living Dead and ...and You Shall Live in Terror! - The afterlife.

Nell'immaginaria città di New Whitby, situata nel New England, una ragazza si sta rivestendo nella cantina di una casa abbandonata, dopo aver fatto l'amore con il suo ragazzo. Dopo averlo ripetutamente chiamato, senza ottenere una risposta, la ragazza scopre che il ragazzo è stato brutalmente ucciso;







In New York, Dr. Norman Boyle assumes the research about Dr. Freudstein of his colleague Dr. Petersen, who committed suicide after killing his mistress. Norman heads to Boston with his wife Lucy Boyle and their son Bob to live in an isolated house in the woods that belonged to Dr. Petersen.
