I had a chance to check out the recent Disney Plus IMAX release of Guardians of the Galaxy and I personally found it too dark and the colours felt a little off, my Guardians of the Galaxy IMAX release using the 3D blu-ray as the video source looks much better to my eyes, brightness is much better and the colours feel more balanced, so thats the source i´m going to stick with for Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Disney Plus IMAX release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 looks better than the 3D blu-ray imho but still a little dark for my taste, I would prefer that it better matches the brightness of the first Guardians of the Galaxy IMAX release, so i´ll be doing a new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 release using the Disney Plus IMAX as the video source.

A number of you asked if I also created an uncropped version of the Guardians of the Galaxy IMAX release with the video stream left unaltered and I did, I created this release to have the option of being able to watch Guardians of the Galaxy with the best image quality possible. Enjoy!

English and Spanish subtitles are also included in this release, as well as the Atmos track from the UHD blu-ray and chapter listings.
