In a never-before-heard prison interview conducted in 1999 just three months into serving multiple life sentences for killing three people and wounding 23 others, Ted Kaczynski describes in chilling detail the origins and execution of his personal war against society, his disdain for the FBI investigators who tracked him and his hope for modern terrorism.

The story is told through with over 70 hours of recorded and original interviews in an effort to bring all new information to the documentary. As his infamy grows, Ted Kaczynski finds his footing as a serial bomber while authorities desperately search for a pattern with his earliest targets.
