The files are primarily based on the available “Russian version” for the video, and the “g01ngf0rward” for the audio in English.
The challenge has been… of biblical proportions: the best defining word is “inconsistency”. Inconsistency of video quality, of types video of artifacts, progressive or interlaced (implying de-interlacing), interlaced saved as progressive! Inconsistencies of frame rates (video copies are in 25fps, while audio ones in 29.97, so I had reinterpret them and sync them individually), of pixel aspects (even within the same video!), of editing (different copies carry different lengths for the commercial pauses), of languages, of labeling (every season had misordered/mislabelled episodes), and so on. Some I had to address in each video, some on individual seasons, and some just in unique episodes.
It was nightmare.

My priority was… the animation portions per se; for these to be as consistent and enjoyable as I could get them to be. For example, some sections might look stretched, but they’re NOT from the animation per se.
Even though the deinterlacing is not perfect, there are minor artifacts here and there (especially in season 3, there’s some odd “moire” in certain fragments of the frame, I wasn’t able to mitigate more from the original), I believe this is the most sharp and faithful copy of the original series available. It’s not perfect, but it’s most definitely consistent and enjoyable.
On top of it, the size is very much reasonable for the quality. Since it’s a very “flat” (in terms of textures) cartoon, there’s much to gain by tinkering with the bitrate.
