1975: Occhi bianchi sul pianeta Terra (The Omega Man) è un film di fantascienza postapocalittica del 1971 diretto da Boris Sagal.
Il soggetto è tratto dal romanzo fantascientifico postapocalittico di Richard Matheson Io sono leggenda (I Am Legend) del 1954 (pubblicato in Italia anche con il titolo I vampiri), pur discostandosi molto dal romanzo. Dallo stesso soggetto era già stata tratta la pellicola L'ultimo uomo della Terra (The Last Man on Earth) del 1964, una produzione italoamericana alla cui sceneggiatura partecipò attivamente lo stesso Matheson. Il film ha avuto un remake nel 2007, Io sono leggenda (I Am Legend)
The subject is taken from Richard Matheson's post-apocalyptic science fiction novel I Am Legend from 1954 (also published in Italy with the title I Vampires), although it differs greatly from the novel. The 1964 film The Last Man on Earth had already been based on the same subject, an Italian-American production in whose screenplay Matheson himself actively participated.
