The film quickly moves to Chennai where Selva becomes roomie with Karukkavel and just like any Indian film hero, falls in love at first sight with a woman he bumps into, quite literally. Concurrently, Deputy Commissioner Shakthi is working on a case that involves a murder spree with identical MO and they all link to the politician Rajavelu who is constantly losing his black money to the killer.
