It follows two conmen, Virupaksha and Balaraju, played by Shivarajkumar and Prabhudeva, as they head to Nandikoluru, at the behest of the warden of the jail they were at. He has a mission for them – should they be able to convince his parents to finally leave the village behind and join him in the city, he will help commute their sentence. But when they get to Nandikoluru, they realize that the villagers are fighting a losing battle with the local MLA about getting a basic amenity like water. How Virupaksha and Balaraju come to their aid, while also falling in love, is what the film is about.
