01 Universal Soldier Uncut 1992.

Luc Devreux and Andrew Scott are US soldiers who kill each other in Vietnam when

Devreux interferes with Scott's slaughter of a friendly village. Listed as MIA,

they are actually flash-frozen and shipped to a top-secret facility where a team of

scientists led by Colonel Perry turn the two, along with other select specimens,

into super-soldiers known as "UniSols." While helping foil a terrorist takeover of

the giant McKinley Dam, Devreux starts having flashbacks to his former life, and

makes a break from his colleagues. The increasingly human Devreux teams up with TV

reporter Veronica Roberts, while they are chased across much of the Midwest by

Scott, and also by Perry and the police, who capture them long enough for Scott to

find them. After a chase, thinking that they killed Scott in a truck crash,

Veronica takes Devreux home to his parents in Louisiana, only to have Scott catch

up with them for a brutal confrontation.

02 Universal Soldier II Brothers In Arms 1998.

Luc Devereaux is a member of a top secret military project operating under the name

Universal Soldiers. Luc and journalist Veronica Roberts are given temporary leave

by Mentor, the mysterious leader of the organization. They use this time to unravel

Mentor's plan. He wants to resurrect soldiers from the dead, genetically improve

them and then program them as robots to form an iron-strong army. At the moment

that Luc and Veronica, to publicize the story, Luc's memory is erased. He has truly

forgotten everything, just Veronica no longer exists in his perception.

After being brought back from the dead as a genetically enhanced warrior, Luc

Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is now fully human and working with scientist

Dylan Cotner (Xander Berkeley) to create a new, safer breed of fighters. When

Cotner's project loses its funding, his supercomputer, the sentient SETH (Michael

gyJai White), is scheduled to be turned off. Alarmed, SETH takes over a human body

to defend itself. To prevent the machine from destroying mankind, Luc must fight

back.

John awakens from a coma to discover his wife and daughtee slaughtered in a brutal
