FAQ
What is the difference between the backer build and the public build?
The backer build has extra features included. You can view the NSFW scenes from a third person perspectiveas well. You will be able to zoom in and out in order to enjoy the scenes more.
When we are going to receive new builds of Viking's Daughter?
-If you are a supporter pledging $5+, you will receive a new build each month. The public build will stay 2-4 weeks behind the current one.
Can I run the game on my old machine?
-When you first start the game, it’s going to pick up the highest possible settings, but we have implemented in-game settings menu (ESC – Settings), where you can tweak the settings to play with a higher frame rate. We have posted a guide on how to run the game on a low-end PC here.
Do you plan to add more islands / locations?
-Yes (see the Patreon’s goals). Once the current islands are populated enough, we are going to start working on more zones, so you can travel, explore different environments and interact with more characters.

We have been working on the AI states and currently we have idle, rest, patrol, flee and death state. We are happy with the results, because the system that we set up supports an unlimited amount of animations, currently we have over 30 for this animal, including procedural head movements and it's well optimized and easy to extend.
The best thing is that this system could be reused for the future animals that we are going to add in the game, which will save us a lot of time.
The NPCs are also aligning properly with the terrain height as it's moving.
We also started working on the hunting quest today and almost finished setting it up.
You can take a look at the video, we also had to turn off the player's detection in order to get close to the animal and record the video while it's moving and sitting on the ground.

New NSFW animations during our existing scenes, which give the player the ability to have control over the current scene, so you can do things like slap, grope and lifting up her leg plus jiggle effects (see the animation previews below).
Replay every sex animation that was previously unlocked at the end of the current sex scene, so you can switch to doggy style from reverse cowgirl or switch to the blowjob animation.
Eye movement and head rotation when the player is nearby to give the game a realistic feel.
