Pantham’ is at its heart, the story of a man with a golden heart who wants nothing more than to serve those in need, instead of being a millions-amassing businessman. Also at the heart of the film are the themes of corruption (“Common man is the most corrupted part of the system,” thunders Gopichand in a scene), politicians pretending to be ‘Bhai’s, where the ex gratia payments promised to victims of injustice go and a lot more.
