Описание: Сегодня увидело свет расширенное переиздание знаменитого "White Album" The Beatles. Строго говоря, дата его выхода - не 9, а 22 ноября 1968 года, так что к 50-летнему юбилею альбома можно ожидать какого-нибудь приятного бонуса от сэра Пола Маккартни.

Именно благодаря самому деятельному из битлов до выхода deluxe-версии альбома появились в широком доступе ремастированная "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", документальный клип на "Glass Onion" и "советскское" лирик-видео на "Back In The U.S.S.R.".

6 дисков альбома объединены в коробку узнаваемого "белого" дизайна, два из них содержат редкие записи - в основном, демо-версии хитов с альбома. Один диск целиком состоит из песен, не вошедших в "White Album". Огромный фотоальбом, который сопровождает релиз, демонстрирует публичную и закадровую жизнь Джона, Пола, Джорджа и Ринго.

По сути, переиздание акцентирует внимание на персоналиях участников группы, отчасти поляризуя их образы: Пол - великолепный мелодист и апвтор незамысловатых песен-рассказок - Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da, Blackbird, Helter Skelter, Honey Pie, - но в роли хранителя исторической памяти он выступает как бережный и не лишенный чувства юмора проактивный куратор; а Джон Леннон впервые заявляет о себе как о социальном авторе: "But when you talk about destruction don’t you know that you can count me out …in”.

Бесконечно трогательна история Ринго, который радовался возможности забыть о начавших разъедать Beatles распрях, который позже признался в интервью: "Пока мы записывали белый альбом, мы снова стали группой".
